Catchup

PLEASE forgive me. I am awful at keeping up with this thing so please bear with me!

As I have not posted in quite some time, there actually has been a lot going on in my life. I have finally figured out somewhat of a plan for next year and I am so unbelievably relieved. I was so stressed out because school has not been my friend lately, but I took a deep breath, took some advice and help from others, and have finally settled some things out. THANK GOD.

Well, I just had my Spring Break and it was so relaxing. I didn't go to the beach like everyone else but I did go home and spend time with my family which I thought was more important. Not much of anything really exciting happened... it was an extremely relaxing, and wonderful weekend at home with all of my favorite people to spend it with!

On our way back home from Savannah during my first weekend of break, we stopped by the outlets where I had the worst of the worst anxiety attacks... we won't go there! Terrible experience is all I will say about that but as it passed, I could finally start actually concentrating on shopping around. We stopped by Kirkland's and I found the EXACT theme I want for my room next year when I move out. A picture below is something similar to what I want:

It might be hard to see but I want the Paris theme with the Maroon colors that they used! I absolutely fell in love with it.

Picture #5: Favorite Memory

Jennifer is my favorite memory. Her and I were attached at the hip since the day I was born-- I miss her more than ever! We love & miss you Jen. You are my sweet angel :)

Onto day four

Picture #4:

I have an issue with biting my nails and I have since I was little-- which is surprising now considering I am such a germ-a-phobe lately! I go through phases where I finally let them grow and they look great but my anxiety hits, or a test has arrived and my nails seem to disappear! I really wish I could stop because it gets to be painful but it's just one of those habits that are very hard to break.

Day 3

Picture #3-- Cast of your favorite show.

Keeping Up with the Kardashian's is one show that I absolutely love. It keeps me entertained and I envy everything about each one of the girls. Kourtney is stupid and gets treated like crap by her flaming drunk boyfriend BUT she has the cutest little baby boy. Kim is drop dead gorgeous and lives the perfect life and Khloe lives the perfect married life while wearing a 10 pound diamond rock on her hand. This show is GREAT & yes I am addicted!

Hectic week in the life of Haley-- we won't go into it on here.. but keep your eyes open for my next post :)

Have a happy weekend!!

Best Friends Til the End

PICTURE # 2: Picture of someone you have been close to for a long time!

Caitlin and I have been the best of friends for a long time. Funny thing is, we used to DESPISE each other and give each other those horrible mean mugs as we passed each other in the elementary/middle school hallways. Then that dreaded day came where our English teacher just HAD to sit us right next to each other! Long story short, we got to talking about assignments-- of course, not trying to befriend each other because we were both so unbelievably stubborn. She then decided to be the kind-hearted girl she is and invite me to her birthday party!! Ever since, we have formed the best of relationship and she is the best friend any girl could ever wish for & more!

Off to study-- stay tuned!

"One for One"

FIRST and FOREMOST--
I apologize for slacking so badly on my daily posts that I promised a while ago. I will go ahead and say that the "Project 365" that I had said I would try and keep up with has already been a complete fail! My life right now can easily be described as overbearing, which would absolutely be an understatement. I have 2 midterms, a test, and a rough draft all to be prepared for next week! I have been non stop studying and also trying to get in my meals, laundry, sleep, a teensy amount of relaxation, and whatever else my body has been screaming for.

Last weekend, I went home. I had a GREAT time as always and always fear that Sunday of having to drive the dreadful drive back to hell.

Thursday- Arrived home after my 4 hour ride at around 8:00 and mom had a wonderful meal made of spaghetti, salad, and Texas Toast which is one of my favorite meals! Although, my mouth was watering the minute I walked in the door, I couldn't fir another thing into my stomach after the Mcdonald's that had ruined my excitement for momma's meal. I DID end up squeezing some of that delicious garlic bread down my throat though. DELICIOUS!! Family and I sat and talked-- caught with up my school life and the ups and downs of everything going on lately. Went to bed later on to get enough sleep to get up and go shopping for my new favorite item in which I WILL collect in every color and I am sure of it.

Friday- Mom and Maggie May (my beautiful baby girl) came in at around 11 and woke me up to go on our shopping trip of the day. Got some puppy kisses from Mags before heading to the shower. Got ready and then left to head to the wonderful, unbelievable, my most favorite store EVER..... Abbadabba's!!! I had told mom that I wanted TOMS and they were supposed to be a Christmas gift but I just couldn't decide on what color I wanted.Quite the decision to make huh? When you purchase a pair of TOMS, a pair is also purchased by the company and is donated to children in need. "One for One".  So we walk into the store and we looked around at the different colors, tried some on. I picked out a navy blue-striped pair along with the red pair I have always had my eye on. I asked the lady for a size 7 in both and she came out with only one pair that came in a 7 which were the RED ones.. it was a definite sign that those were the ones for me! I absolutely love them and walked out wearing them. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had on my feet. You ALL should purchase a pair to experience the comfort I have now become obsessed with. Mom even purchased a gray pair!! Below shows my wonderful red TOMS.

After leaving Abbadabba's, we were in a rush to head over to Woodstock High to watch Chase's first high school baseball scrimmage. I was so unbelievably excited when I heard that Chase was one of the few that made the JV team, and also worked out with the Varsity team one day that same week. He started out by pitching for the 2nd inning and did awesome! He then played shortstop for the rest of the game. He is making his sister very proud!! Can't wait to watch a real game next time I am home!

Saturday- Got ready for a day out with Nini. She is my amazing grandma for those of you who don't know and it's a sorry thing if you don't! Her and I went out to lunch at a place in downtown Woodstock that I had never been before called J.Christopher's. It was delicious. I had a mouth-watering J.Christopher's club sandwich with taters and a sweet tea! Such a yummy lunch we had. We then headed off to a couple cute shops that were across the street. I never knew how much downtown Woodstock had grown until then. I love it there. We drove past some houses that I fell in love with.. drove past a house that had "free information" outside of it so of course I got out and picked one up, curious to see that price of one of these beautiful town homes. Well to my disappointment-- they were up to half a MIL. I guess I could keep dreaming until my dreams come true with my Obstetrician salary one day!! Anywho, after we left we went to the grocery and she was so sweet to buy me some groceries I needed to bring back to school with me! We had such a good, quality day together!! I miss my family so much, it's crazy.
That night, Michael came and got me so we could go over to his house and spend some time with his family. It was nice to catch up with them, considering I never get to see them anymore. They never fail to make me laugh! I'm blessed to pretty much be a part of such amazing people. Michael and I got to spend time together which is always great! I love getting to see him and get squeezed by his wonderful hugs. We miss each other so much and can't wait for summertime so we can spend lots more time together!!

That was my great weekend in a nutshell. It felt so good to be home and I can't wait to spend more time with my favorites in just 2 weeks for a whole WEEK!! Spring Break isn't getting to crazy for me this year.. just some quality time with the people that mean the most! That's all that matters, right?

Yesterday was a big day for me. I am quite indecisive and if you know me, then that is no news to you but I finally figured out what I want to do with my life. I was researching different nursing jobs and was trying to look for exactly what it is that I see myself doing in the future after 76 years of schooling... okay fine, 12 years of schooling. I want to be an Obstetrician!

Obstetrician- is a physician who has successfully completed specialized education and training in the management of pregnancy, labor, and pueperium (the time-period directly following childbirth).

I have decided that since I love handling babies and would love to work with women and guide them throughout their pregnancy, this is the job for me! As I continued to research this career, I also found that the schooling is quite a process but so rewarding in the end. This career is path is also rewarding in the case that the average salary per year is around $233,061. That immediately put a bigger smile on my face and made my decision that much more definite. I do tend to change my major around because I can't make a decision to save my life and there are so many things that I would like to do in the nursing field, but I do believe this is one that just might stick! I am excited to see what happens :)

That is all for now. I promise to be better with keeping my posts up to date instead of slacking off for weeks at a time! Stay tuned--

"I'll tell you your name, Rihanna"

Picture # 4
Tyler Thomas-- this is my best friend since I was in the 7th grade. Believe it or not, we hated each other when we first met but now I can say that he knows the most about me and I can do or say anything in front of this kid and he will never judge me.. Reason being, he is as weird as it comes, as you can see in the picture above! We can't even have a normal Skype session...without acting utterly ridiculous!

So, tonight I was reminded by my mother about 45 minutes into the show that the Grammy's were on! Here are some of my opinions of this year's show:
  •  I fell madly in love with Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith all over again, more than I already was. They put on such an amazing performance-- I don't get how such young performers can put on such an unbelievable show! Jaden, you are TOO adorable! Oh, and Biebz your haircut makes you look much older-- good call :)

  •  Although, I tend to go for Caucasian men, tonight I felt my emotions alter a bit once Usher hit the stage(Sorry, Michael). Usher has got to be the sexiest black man alive. His dance moves are impossible-- meaning I have already tried them out in front of my mirror (Shhh...) and his voice is just incredible. Biebz is one lucky fella to have Usher as his leader/best friend.

  • Lady Antebellum ROCKS-- they won 3 awards and deserved every bit of it. They are one of my favorite country bands out there. Even though little Biebz deserved at least one award and should have been honored with one, L.A definitely deserved every bit of what they earned!

  • Holy Rihanna! That first song was great and she looked absolutely stunning, but let's talk about that last song-- or should we say that last dance?! She rocked those moves, that's for sure. She had nothing on but underwear which was a little risque but hey, her body allows her to dress that way so why not? She is gorgeous!! She is another one of my faves..

  • Lady GaGa-- I despise you. Sorry, you don't deserve a picture because your outfits are annoyingly ridiculous. End of story!

The Grammy's this year were awesome!! -- JB, you got it next time!
